Montra Electric Expands EVIATOR Range With Two New eSCV Variants

Montra Electric has strengthened its electric small commercial vehicle portfolio with the launch of two new EVIATOR variants in India. The newly introduced EVIATOR 350 and EVIATOR 350L+ aim to provide flexible battery options for businesses operating in different logistics segments.

With growing demand for electric mobility in last mile and mid mile delivery, the company is focusing on offering vehicles that align closely with real world fleet requirements. The new models are expected to be available across dealerships in the country soon.

EVIATOR 350 and 350L+ Price, Battery and Range Details

The EVIATOR 350 is equipped with a 32 kWh battery and comes with an introductory price of ₹14.58 lakh. On the other hand, the EVIATOR 350L+ features a larger 50 kWh battery and is priced starting at ₹16.86 lakh.

With this launch, Montra Electric now offers three battery configurations in the EVIATOR lineup, including 32 kWh, 40 kWh, and 50 kWh options. This expanded range allows fleet operators to choose a vehicle based on their daily usage and route requirements.

The EVIATOR 350 is designed primarily for city based operations. It supports up to 140 km of daily driving, making it suitable for urban logistics and regular cargo deliveries.

In comparison, the EVIATOR 350L+ is built for longer routes and intercity transport. It delivers a real world range of over 200 km, while the company claims a certified range of more than 300 km. This makes it suitable for applications such as refrigerated transport and municipal services.

EVIATOR Range Expansion Based on Fleet Data Insights

Montra Electric has developed these new EVIATOR variants using insights gathered from real fleet operations. Currently, more than 600 EVIATOR vehicles are in use across different sectors, collectively covering over 65 lakh kilometres.

This operational data helped the company identify varying delivery patterns and performance needs. As a result, the new battery options are tailored to suit both short distance and long distance logistics operations.

According to Jalaj Gupta, Managing Director of Montra Electric, the next stage of EV adoption will depend on how effectively vehicles integrate into practical use cases rather than just product specifications.

Saju Nair also highlighted that the new variants will allow businesses to expand the use of electric vehicles across different applications. He noted that this approach can help improve fleet efficiency and overall operational economics.

Conclusion

The launch of the EVIATOR 350 and EVIATOR 350L+ marks a strategic expansion for Montra Electric in the electric small commercial vehicle segment. By introducing multiple battery options and targeting different delivery needs, the company is aiming to support wider EV adoption in India.

With improved range, flexible configurations, and data driven development, the EVIATOR lineup is set to play a key role in helping fleet operators transition towards efficient and sustainable transport solutions.
