Mahindra Opens New Truck and Bus 3S Dealership in Hubli
Mahindra has expanded its commercial vehicle network with the launch of a new truck and bus 3S dealership in Hubli, Karnataka. The facility aims to improve after-sales support and strengthen the brand’s regional presence while providing faster service for commercial vehicle owners.
The new Mahindra truck and bus 3S dealership in Hubli has been developed to support sales, service, and spare parts operations for a wide range of commercial vehicles. Spread across approximately 52,000 square feet, the facility features seven service bays that can handle more than seven vehicles daily, improving service turnaround for customers in the region.
Mahindra Strengthens Commercial Vehicle Service Network
The Mahindra truck and bus 3S dealership in Hubli has been established in partnership with M/s Indhu India Motors Pvt Ltd, which becomes the new dealer partner for the company’s truck and bus business in the region.
With this addition, Mahindra continues to expand its nationwide service ecosystem. The company stated that Mahindra Trucks and Buses along with SML now operate more than 200 3S dealerships and over 400 secondary service touchpoints across India.
The Hubli facility has been designed to service multiple commercial vehicle categories including heavy commercial vehicles, intermediate commercial vehicles, light commercial vehicles, and buses. Along with vehicle servicing, the dealership offers driver lodging, AdBlue availability, and 24-hour breakdown assistance for fleet operators.
According to Vinod Sahay, President for Trucks, Buses and Construction Equipment and a member of the Mahindra Group Executive Board, the company is focused on improving accessibility and customer care through a stronger dealership network.
He said the addition of the Hubli dealership will help Mahindra deliver better service support to its customers while expanding its presence in Karnataka. Sahay also noted that Mahindra Trucks and Buses and SML together now maintain a wide service network that supports truck and bus operators across the country.
Mahindra Targets Higher Market Share in Trucks and Buses
Mahindra currently holds close to 7 percent market share in the trucks and buses segment. In the intermediate and light commercial vehicle bus segment, the company commands around 24 percent market share.
The company has set ambitious growth targets for the coming years. Mahindra aims to increase its overall trucks and buses market share to 10 to 12 percent by FY31, with plans to exceed 20 percent market share by FY36.
Venkat Srinivas, Business Head for Mahindra Trucks, Buses and Construction Equipment, stated that customer-centric innovation remains a major focus for the company.
He highlighted several offerings that aim to improve fleet management and operational efficiency. These include Mahindra’s iMAXX telematics system, which allows fleet operators to monitor vehicle performance and manage transport operations more efficiently.
Srinivas added that Mahindra continues to expand its dealership network and after-sales support systems to deliver a better customer experience across the commercial vehicle industry.
Mahindra Truck Range and Service Commitment
Mahindra’s commercial vehicle portfolio includes well-known truck ranges such as Blazo X, Furio, Optimo, and Jayo. These models are designed to deliver improved fuel efficiency, durability, and operational reliability for fleet operators.
A key feature that differentiates the brand is its double service guarantee for truck customers. Under this policy, Mahindra promises to get a vehicle back on the road within 48 hours, failing which the company compensates the customer with Rs. 1000 per day.
Additionally, the company guarantees that vehicles will be serviced within 36 hours at the dealership workshop, or customers will receive Rs. 3000 per day as compensation.
These service commitments are part of Mahindra’s broader strategy of combining product innovation with strong customer support.
