Bajaj Auto Limited has recorded a 25% year-on-year increase in total sales for January 2026, according to a press release submitted to stock exchanges on February 3, 2026. The Pune-based automaker sold 4,77,422 units last month, up from 3,81,040 units in January 2025, demonstrating robust growth across domestic and international markets.

Domestic and Export Sales Surge
Domestic sales increased 26% to 2,61,975 units, while exports rose 25% to 2,15,447 units, highlighting Bajaj Auto’s strong presence in both the home market and global supply chains. This balanced growth underscores the company’s continued strategy of expanding international reach alongside solid domestic performance.

Two-Wheeler Segment Drives Growth
The two-wheeler segment was a major contributor, with total sales climbing 24% to 4,06,295 units. Domestic two-wheeler sales rose 25% to 2,14,727 units, while exports grew 22% to 1,91,568 units. Bajaj Auto’s popular motorcycle and scooter ranges continue to resonate with customers, boosting both market share and brand recognition.

Commercial Vehicles Show Robust Expansion
The commercial vehicle segment demonstrated exceptional performance, with total sales up 35% to 71,127 units. Domestic sales of commercial vehicles rose 27% to 47,248 units, and exports jumped 53% to 23,879 units. This surge reflects growing demand for Bajaj Auto’s commercial mobility solutions in both domestic logistics and overseas markets.

Ten-Month Performance Overview
For the April 2025 to January 2026 period, cumulative sales reached 42,24,031 units, representing an 8% increase over the same period last year. While domestic two-wheeler sales for this ten-month window declined 2% to 19,41,855 units, commercial vehicle exports maintained strong momentum, showing a 53% growth, indicating sustained international demand.

The sales data for January 2026 was submitted to BSE Limited and the National Stock Exchange of India Limited by Company Secretary Rajiv Gandhi, in compliance with SEBI regulations.
