Carraro India Opens First Authorised Service Centre
Carraro India has taken a major step in strengthening its aftermarket presence by inaugurating its first Authorised Service Centre in Faridabad, Haryana. The new facility, established in partnership with PHE Industries, marks an important milestone in the company’s long-term expansion strategy aimed at building a strong, pan-India service and support network.
An independent Tier-I provider of axles, transmission systems, gears, and related components, Carraro India plans to set up four Authorised Service Centres across the country by 2026. These centres will be strategically located to serve the North, South, East, and West regions, aligning with the company’s broader growth roadmap for the Indian market.
The inauguration ceremony in Faridabad was attended by Andrea Conchetto, Chief Executive Officer of Carraro Group, Italy, and Dr. Balaji Gopalan, Ph.D., Managing Director of Carraro India. Partners, customers, and other key stakeholders were also present, underlining the importance of the launch for the company’s future aftermarket strategy.
Located in the industrial hub of Faridabad, the new service centre is positioned to support customers across North India. It will provide comprehensive service solutions, including expert repairs and access to genuine Carraro spare parts. The centre is expected to significantly improve service turnaround times and ensure consistent support for original equipment manufacturers and end-users operating in demanding environments.
Carraro India’s planned rollout of four modern service centres, combined with a strengthened nationwide network of authorised spare parts distributors and dealers, is designed to address rising demand from the agriculture, construction, and material handling sectors. As these industries continue to expand, reliable aftermarket support has become increasingly critical to maintaining equipment performance and operational efficiency.
The authorised service centres will offer OEM-grade spare parts, specialised technical assistance, and rapid maintenance support for tractors, construction equipment, and material handling machinery. By ensuring easy access to genuine components, Carraro aims to reduce equipment downtime and lower operating costs, particularly in a market being driven by infrastructure development and increased farm mechanisation.
Commenting on the initiative, Dr. Balaji Gopalan said the expansion reflects Carraro’s commitment to supporting India’s off-highway sector. He noted that the regional service hubs and enhanced dealer network will drive growth in the company’s spares business while supporting the Atmanirbhar Bharat vision by reducing dependence on imports and improving access to high-quality OEM parts.
Andrea Conchetto added that India’s rapidly evolving market requires strong aftermarket capabilities. He said the upcoming service centres and expanded distributor ecosystem will position Carraro as a reliable partner for high-performance and sustainable drivetrain solutions, ensuring customers across sectors benefit from faster service, genuine parts, and dependable uptime.
