CASE Construction Equipment Bullish on India’s Infrastructure Growth
UK-based CASE Construction Equipment, a $20 billion global leader, is optimistic about the Indian market as infrastructure spending is expected to rise in the upcoming Union Budget. With India emerging as one of the fastest-growing markets for the company, CASE anticipates a rebound in the construction equipment sector this year, following a slight slowdown last year due to extended monsoon impacts and segment-specific demand declines.
Shalabh Chaturvedi, MD of CASE Construction Equipment – India & SAARC, said the industry is likely to recover to mid-single-digit growth this year, with CASE aiming to outperform the market and achieve close to 10% growth. “Higher capital expenditure will fuel infrastructure development, road construction, and urban projects, directly benefiting the construction equipment industry,” Chaturvedi noted. Positive farmer income and renewed investment sentiment are expected to further support demand.
CASE, a global construction equipment leader since 1842, has been present in India since 1989. The company maintains a dominant position in the Vibratory Compactor segment and is a leading player in the backhoe loader market. India remains CASE’s second most important market after the US, contributing significantly to the company’s global operations. CASE currently operates four legal entities in India across agriculture, construction equipment, NBFC, and a global capability centre (GCC), generating nearly $1 billion in revenue.
Reinforcing its commitment to India, CASE recently opened a COCO (Company Owned, Company Operated) Brandstore in Tiruchirapalli, following its Delhi launch. The 5,300 sq. ft. facility houses two service bays, a dedicated workshop, a warehouse with 700 parts lines, and is supported by trained service engineers, service vans, and advanced diagnostic tools. Emre Karazli, Vice President – Construction Segment, APAC, CNH, emphasized that the new Trichy store strengthens CASE’s customer proximity and solidifies India’s role in global operations.
The Tiruchirapalli location was strategically chosen to serve high-potential construction hubs across Ariyalur, Perambalur, Thanjavur, Madurai, Tirunelveli, and surrounding Delta regions. CASE expects the new facility to improve after-sales service, facilitate faster spare parts availability, and enhance support for fleet modernisation initiatives.
With a strong focus on India’s infrastructure expansion, CASE Construction Equipment is betting on renewed capital expenditure, regional network expansion, and technology-driven solutions to drive growth in 2026. The company’s strategic investments and market confidence highlight India’s rising significance in the global construction equipment landscape.
