Mahindra Expands Truck & Bus Network with 10 New 3S Dealerships Across India
In a major expansion drive during the festive season, Mahindra & Mahindra has inaugurated ten state-of-the-art 3S (Sales, Service, Spare Parts) dealerships across India. This move not only strengthens Mahindra’s footprint in the commercial vehicle segment but also enhances its customer service capacity across the country. With the addition of these outlets, Mahindra’s total 3S dealership count will touch 97, reflecting the brand’s steady growth trajectory in the truck and bus business.
The newly opened facilities are strategically located in Durgapur, Guwahati, Haldwani, Hissar, Bhopal, Hubli, Raipur, Muzaffarpur, Jalandhar, and Kanpur—key regional hubs for freight and passenger transport. Each dealership features a modern service setup equipped with an additional 60 service bays, enabling a collective capacity to service more than 100 commercial vehicles daily. The facilities also include driver rest areas, 24×7 breakdown support, and AdBlue availability, ensuring comprehensive service coverage.
With this expansion, Mahindra’s nationwide service capacity now stands at nearly 1,200 bays. The dealerships are designed to deliver end-to-end solutions—from vehicle sales to maintenance and spare parts—for Mahindra’s complete range of commercial vehicles, including its BLAZO X, FURIO, OPTIMO, and JAYO series.
Vinod Sahay, President of Trucks, Buses & Construction Equipment and Executive Chairman of SML Isuzu, emphasized the company’s strong commitment to the commercial vehicle segment. “The addition of 10 more 3S dealerships underscores our dedication to strengthening our truck and bus business and meeting the evolving needs of our customers. Along with SML, we now boast over 600 sales and service touchpoints across India,” he stated.
He also revealed Mahindra’s growing market share, noting that the company currently holds around 7% in the trucks and buses category and aims to reach 10–12% by FY31, with an ambitious 20% target by FY36.
Venkat Srinivas, Business Head for Mahindra Trucks, Buses & Construction Equipment, added that customer-centric innovation remains central to Mahindra’s growth. “Our focus on higher mileage, advanced telematics solutions like iMAXX, and expanding dealership networks reflect our goal of offering unmatched customer experiences in the Indian commercial vehicle sector,” he said.
Mahindra’s commercial vehicle division continues to push boundaries with its performance-focused trucks and buses, backed by industry-first service guarantees—such as vehicle turnaround within 36 hours or daily compensation. The company’s expanding network and consistent innovation reflect its mission to redefine reliability, profitability, and peace of mind for India’s logistics and transport operators.
