Godrej Unveils India’s First 48V Li-Ion Electric Hand Pallet Truck GEPT 20

In a landmark step towards sustainable logistics, Godrej Enterprises Group’s Material Handling Equipment business has launched GEPT 20, India’s first 48-volt lithium-ion powered electric hand pallet truck. Designed to transform warehouse and retail operations, the GEPT 20 marks a major leap in energy efficiency, safety, and productivity within the country’s growing logistics ecosystem.

The Godrej GEPT 20 is engineered to deliver three times higher productivity than conventional hand pallet trucks. Its 48V Li-ion battery offers rapid charging, over four hours of runtime on a single charge, and a maintenance-free operation, eliminating the need for frequent servicing. With a 2-tonne load capacity, the truck is tailored for diverse sectors including warehousing, retail, e-commerce, and manufacturing units.

A key highlight of the GEPT 20 is its turtle speed mode, which ensures safe maneuverability in narrow aisles and high-traffic environments — a critical feature for busy warehouse settings. The vehicle’s robust build and compact design promise greater reliability while reducing downtime and operational costs.
