Ashok Leyland Delivers AVTR 55T Electric Trucks to ASAT Logistics, Setting New Benchmark in Sustainable Transport

Ashok Leyland has commenced the delivery of 24 units of its AVTR 55T electric trucks to ASAT Logistics in India, marking a significant step in the push toward sustainable and technologically advanced logistics solutions. The first batch of four trucks was officially handed over in a ceremony attended by senior executives from both companies, highlighting the strategic partnership’s focus on innovation and eco-friendly transport.

Arvind Sarda, CEO of ASAT Logistics, echoed the sentiment, noting the company’s trust in Ashok Leyland’s quality and performance. The AVTR 55T trucks are engineered for maximum range efficiency and reduced total cost of ownership. They feature advanced lithium-ion battery technology with dual-gun charging ports for compatibility with standard charging infrastructure. The vehicles are also built with premium materials for an enhanced in-cabin experience and include automatic transmission, advanced telematics, and a full suite of Advanced Driver Assist Systems (ADAS) and safety features.

These electric trucks are part of Ashok Leyland’s broader mission to transform the commercial-grade transportation sector in India by providing reliable, efficient, and environmentally responsible mobility solutions.
