Tata Motors Commercial Vehicles Accelerates Green Freight with Delivery of Prima E.55S Electric Trucks to Enviiiro Wheels Mobility
In a significant step toward decarbonising India’s freight transport ecosystem, Tata Motors Commercial Vehicles (TMLCV) has commenced deliveries of its cutting-edge Prima E.55S battery-electric prime movers to Enviiiro Wheels Mobility, a leading green logistics provider catering to the power, mining, cement, and steel industries. The first batch was officially handed over in Chittorgarh, Rajasthan, marking a major milestone in India’s transition toward zero-emission heavy-duty trucking.

Built on an advanced EV architecture, the Prima E.55S features a full-electric drivetrain with an integrated e-axle and regenerative braking, offering a range of up to 350 km on a single charge. Its 3-speed Auto Shift transmission, dual gun fast-charging capability, and premium driver-centric cabin — complete with pneumatic suspension, tilt-and-telescopic steering, and multiple safety systems including Lane Departure Warning, Tyre Pressure Monitoring, and Cruise Control — make it one of the most advanced heavy-duty EVs in India.
