STRADVISION SVNet Selected For India CV ADAS
AI-based automotive vision company STRADVISION has announced that its SVNet perception software has been selected by a global commercial vehicle OEM for deployment across its India lineup. The program marks a significant step toward large-scale adoption of advanced driver assistance systems in India’s commercial vehicle sector.
The deployment focuses on enabling cost-efficient, scalable, and reliable ADAS solutions tailored for India’s complex road and traffic conditions.
SVNet Chosen for Large-Scale India CV Deployment
The global OEM has selected STRADVISION’s SVNet for fleet-scale integration across multiple commercial vehicle models in India. The initiative is designed to standardize a single perception platform while supporting different hardware configurations across vehicle variants.
SVNet will enable core ADAS features such as forward collision warning, automatic emergency braking, and lane departure warning. This allows commercial vehicle manufacturers to deploy advanced safety systems across their India portfolio using a unified software stack.
AI Vision Technology Designed for Indian Road Conditions
India’s commercial vehicle environment presents unique challenges, including dense mixed traffic, pedestrians, and two- and three-wheelers. SVNet is designed to operate efficiently in these complex conditions while running on cost-sensitive hardware platforms.
The system delivers stable object detection and classification performance even in high-traffic scenarios. This makes it suitable for fleet operators where uptime, reliability, and operational efficiency are critical factors influencing adoption of ADAS in India.
Scalability and OEM Integration Strategy
The SVNet deployment is structured for multi-model rollout, allowing OEMs to scale ADAS integration across different vehicle platforms. This approach helps reduce development complexity while maintaining consistent performance across variants.
With around five million cumulative units already deployed globally, STRADVISION brings proven scalability and production experience to the India commercial vehicle ADAS program.
Industry Shift Toward Efficient ADAS Solutions
The collaboration reflects a broader automotive industry trend where ADAS development is shifting from pure performance to efficiency and cost optimisation. Automakers are increasingly focusing on scalable solutions that can be deployed across high-volume markets like India.
STRADVISION highlighted that India represents a key growth market for ADAS adoption due to its fleet size, traffic complexity, and rising safety requirements in commercial transportation.
