Tata Motors Expands EV Fleet Deal With Green
Tata Motors has strengthened its collaboration with Green Drive Mobility to expand the deployment of electric commercial vehicles across India’s logistics sector. The partnership focuses on scaling electric cargo mobility across first-mile, mid-mile, and last-mile delivery networks.

Under the expanded partnership, Green Drive Mobility will continue deploying Tata Motors electric cargo vehicles across multiple logistics applications. These vehicles are used for first-mile, mid-mile, and last-mile deliveries, catering to enterprise clients across diverse industries.
Target of 1,000 Electric Cargo Vehicles
Green Drive Mobility has set an internal target of reaching around 1,000 electric cargo vehicles by 2028. The scale-up will depend on market demand, customer requirements, and availability of suitable EV products.

Green Drive Mobility’s leadership highlighted that the collaboration with Tata Motors is key to building a scalable electric logistics platform. The company aims to ensure high uptime, operational efficiency, and measurable environmental benefits while expanding its fleet.

Growing EV Fleet and Multi-Sector Presence
Green Drive Mobility currently operates a fleet of over 250 four-wheeler electric cargo vehicles. These serve sectors such as FMCG, FMCD, e-commerce, catering, dairy, courier services, and bakery supply chains.
The company recently added a new batch of Tata Ace EV vehicles for operations in Bengaluru and Hyderabad, supporting logistics for a multinational furnishings brand.
EVaaS Model Driving Sustainable Logistics
Beyond cargo vehicles, Green Drive Mobility offers a comprehensive Electric Vehicle-as-a-Service model. This includes fleet deployment, charging infrastructure, technology solutions, and workforce support.
The company also operates electric two-wheelers, three-wheelers, EV cabs, and buses, positioning itself as a full-stack electric mobility solutions provider in India’s evolving logistics ecosystem.
