Triumph Motorcycles Launches Tracker 400 in India at ₹2,46,225

Triumph Motorcycles, in collaboration with Bajaj Auto, unveiled the Tracker 400 in India on April 6, 2026. Priced at ₹2,46,225 (ex-showroom Delhi), the new flat track-inspired motorcycle joins the brand’s growing India lineup, marking its sixth model in the country.

Design Inspired by Flat Track Racing

The Tracker 400 draws inspiration from oval dirt track racing. Its design features include flat, wide handlebars, repositioned footpegs, a boxy fuel tank, seat cowl, fly screen, number board, and dual-spoke wheels equipped with MRF REVZ FD1 tyres. Buyers can choose from three colours — Racing Yellow, Phantom Black, and Aluminium Silver Gloss.

Performance and Hardware Highlights

Powered by a TR-Series 350cc engine, the Tracker 400 produces 40PS at 8,750rpm. It rides on a dedicated chassis with 43mm upside-down big piston forks at the front, offering 140mm of travel, and a rear gas monoshock RSU with 140mm travel and preload adjustment.

Braking is managed via four-piston radial calipers, while electronics include switchable traction control, ABS, and a torque-assist clutch. The single-dial analogue speedometer paired with a digital tachometer completes the instrumentation. The motorcycle offers a seat height of 805mm.

Triumph’s Strategy in India

Manik Nangia, President of Probiking, Bajaj Auto, stated, “The Speed 400, Scrambler 400 X, and the Thruxton have seen strong acceptance, expanding Triumph’s appeal to younger riders. Building on this momentum, the Tracker 400 introduces greater choice. With its stripped-back flat track attitude, it delivers more fun, more style, and a distinctly sportier ride.”

Since entering India in 2023, Triumph has expanded its presence to over 230 stores across more than 200 towns nationwide, catering to a growing base of enthusiasts seeking premium motorcycles.
