Mahindra LMM Retains India’s No.1 EV Commercial Vehicle Position

 Mahindra Last Mile Mobility Limited (MLMML), a subsidiary of Mahindra & Mahindra Ltd., has maintained its position as India’s leading electric commercial vehicle manufacturer for the fourth consecutive year, according to the Society of Indian Automobile Manufacturers (SIAM). The company announced this milestone at the close of FY2025–26.

Record-Breaking Sales and Market Share

MLMML achieved over 1 lakh electric vehicle sales in FY26 alone, becoming the first commercial vehicle manufacturer in India to cross this threshold in a single fiscal year. Its cumulative EV sales now exceed 3.4 lakh units.

In the L5 category, which covers motorised three-wheelers for passenger and goods transport, MLMML commands a 39.7% market share. The fleet has cumulatively covered over 6 billion e-kilometres, helping prevent roughly 240 kilo metric tonnes of carbon emissions.

Mahindra UDO Launch

MLMML introduced the Mahindra UDO, featuring:

  • 200 km real-world driving range
  • Aerodynamic, first-in-segment design
  • Reverse Throttle functionality

Other Vehicles

The company’s electric lineup also includes the Treo series, Zor Grand, e-Alfa, UDO, and ZEO 4W SCV. For conventional fuel options, MLMML offers Alfa and Jeeto in petrol, CNG, and diesel variants, catering to diverse last-mile transport needs.

Environmental Impact and Sustainability

MLMML’s electric vehicles contribute to India’s sustainability goals. Covering 6 billion e-kilometres, the company has helped reduce 240 kilo metric tonnes of carbon emissions, reflecting a strong commitment to greener mobility.
