India’s electric mobility sector has entered a new phase with the Surge S32 EV officially receiving Type Approval under the newly introduced L2-5 category. Developed by Hero MotoCorp’s startup Surge, the vehicle becomes the first in the country to be certified in this segment, marking a key regulatory breakthrough.
