TrucksUp Partners With IOCL For Driver Welfare

TrucksUp has joined hands with Indian Oil Corporation Limited (IOCL) to support the government’s Apna Ghar scheme, aimed at improving safety, comfort, and access to clean facilities for truck drivers. The initiative ensures drivers have hygienic washrooms, safe resting areas, and essential amenities during long-distance travel. The first facility under this partnership is operational at Baghola, Haryana, along the Delhi–Mumbai Expressway.

Enhancing Safety and Comfort for Truck Drivers

Apna Ghar is a mandatory government initiative at selected highway fuel stations, designed to provide truck drivers with basic comfort and safety facilities. Through this collaboration, TrucksUp promotes awareness of these facilities on its platform, enabling drivers and fleet owners to locate clean rest areas during their journeys.

Sarthak Elwadhi, Co-founder of TrucksUp, said, “By partnering with IOCL, TrucksUp is supporting structured efforts to improve driver welfare. Safe and hygienic facilities reduce fatigue, enhance morale, and contribute to safer roads and a stronger logistics ecosystem.”

Expanding Access Across Highways

The partnership aims to extend Apna Ghar facilities to more cities and key highway routes across India. TrucksUp will continue informing drivers about available centres, ensuring safer and more comfortable journeys while supporting the government’s national driver welfare programme.
