SIAM Releases Zone Wise LCV Sales Data For Q3 FY26

The SIAM LCV Sales Q3 FY26 report highlights strong competition in the light commercial vehicle goods carrier segment, with Mahindra Commercial Vehicles emerging as the clear leader. According to the data released by the Society of Indian Automobile Manufacturers for October to December 2025, the domestic LCV segment recorded total sales of 1,67,090 units during the third quarter of FY26.

The report presents brand wise and zone wise performance across north, east, west and south India, offering a detailed view of how leading manufacturers performed in cargo focused light commercial vehicles.

Mahindra Leads SIAM LCV Sales Q3 FY26

Mahindra Commercial Vehicles topped the SIAM LCV Sales Q3 FY26 rankings with total sales of 82,009 units in the goods carrier segment. The company demonstrated strong dominance in the west zone, where it sold 33,696 units, capturing a 41.1 percent share in that region.

In the north zone, Mahindra sold 17,675 units, followed by 10,519 units in the east and 20,119 units in the south. The brand’s balanced presence across zones helped it secure the highest overall volume in the quarter.

Tata Motors Secures Second Position

Tata Commercial Vehicles ranked second in the SIAM LCV Sales Q3 FY26 data with 48,293 units sold between October and December 2025. The company recorded 13,392 units in the north zone, 8,130 units in the east, 14,263 units in the west and 12,508 units in the south.

Except for the east zone, Tata Motors maintained fairly consistent sales contributions across the remaining three regions, reinforcing its stable footprint in the LCV goods carrier segment.

Ashok Leyland And Maruti Suzuki Follow

Ashok Leyland emerged as the third best selling brand in the SIAM LCV Sales Q3 FY26 report with 19,063 units. The south zone proved to be its strongest market, contributing 9,953 units and accounting for a 52.2 percent share of its quarterly sales. The brand sold 1,908 units in the north, 1,478 units in the east and 5,730 units in the west.

Maruti Suzuki secured fourth place with 11,498 units sold during the quarter. The west zone was its key growth driver with 8,492 units and a dominant 73.9 percent share of its total sales. The company sold 1,317 units in the north, 604 units in the east and 1,085 units in the south, making the east its least contributing region at 5.3 percent.

Other Brands Performance In Q3 FY26

Beyond the top four, several manufacturers contributed to the overall SIAM LCV Sales Q3 FY26 numbers with notable regional strengths.

VECV Eicher And SML Mahindra

VECV Eicher recorded 3,750 units during the quarter. Of these, 842 units were sold in the north, 372 in the east, 1,409 in the west and 1,127 in the south. The west zone remained its strongest region with a 37.6 percent share.

SML Mahindra reported 663 units in Q3 FY26. The north zone accounted for 441 units, contributing 66.5 percent of its total sales. The company sold 22 units in the east, 111 in the west and 89 in the south.

Switch Mobility, Isuzu, Force And Montra Electric

Switch Mobility sold 605 units during the quarter, with the north zone contributing 251 units and a 41.5 percent share. It sold 54 units in the east, 173 in the west and 127 in the south.

Isuzu Motors registered 536 units, with the highest sales coming from the south at 238 units, followed by 191 in the west, 66 in the east and 41 in the north. Force Motors recorded 312 units, distributing 78 units in the north, 15 in the east, 112 in the west and 107 in the south.

Montra Electric sold 301 LCV trucks, with the south zone leading at 162 units and a 53.8 percent share. It sold 88 units in the north, 8 in the east and 43 in the west.

Toyota Kirloskar Motor and Pinnacle Mobility also featured in the SIAM LCV Sales Q3 FY26 list, selling 33 units and 27 units respectively.

Overall, the west zone contributed the highest share at 38.4 percent of total domestic LCV sales, underlining its importance in the goods carrier segment during the third quarter of FY26.
