Rajasthan’s commercial vehicle customers now have easier access to financing, thanks to a new partnership between Ashok Leyland and Rajasthan Gramin Bank. Signed on February 17, 2026, in Jodhpur, the collaboration enables the bank to offer flexible loan options tailored to the needs of vehicle buyers across its widespread branch network.
Through this tie-up, Ashok Leyland aims to strengthen its presence in the state by providing customers with financing solutions that complement its innovative commercial vehicle portfolio. The company’s lineup spans light commercial vehicles, heavy-duty trucks, and buses, including models running on alternative fuels.
Viplav Shah, Head of LCV Business at Ashok Leyland, said the agreement reflects the company’s focus on delivering value to customers. He highlighted that the financing solutions will enhance the overall cost-effectiveness of owning Ashok Leyland vehicles while ensuring maximum profitability for fleet operators.
From the bank’s perspective, Mukesh Bhartiya, Chairman of Rajasthan Gramin Bank, emphasized that the partnership aligns with their mission to serve commercial vehicle customers with customized financial products. Abhimanyu Charan, AGM of the bank, was also present during the signing ceremony, underlining the joint commitment to supporting the growth of businesses in Rajasthan’s transport sector.
