TVS SCS Wins Daimler India Warehouse Contract

TVS Supply Chain Solutions (TVS SCS) has secured a three-year contract from Daimler India Commercial Vehicles (DICV) to manage in-plant warehouse operations at DICV’s Chennai production facility. The collaboration highlights TVS SCS’s commitment to delivering advanced, technology-driven supply chain solutions to global automotive companies.

As part of the engagement, approximately 700 TVS SCS staff will be deployed to oversee all warehouse operations, ensuring smooth material flow, optimised inventory management, and enhanced operational effectiveness. The company will employ cutting-edge technologies, including digital dashboards for centralised performance monitoring, automation-led systems to reduce human handling, IoT-based tracking for real-time visibility, and predictive analytics for intelligent planning. These tools aim to strengthen DICV’s focus on efficiency, quality, and overall manufacturing performance.
