Force Motors Sees Strong Wholesale Growth December 2025

Force Motors ended the 2025 calendar year on a strong footing, reporting a significant rise in domestic wholesale volumes in December. The company recorded wholesales of 2,952 units during the month, marking a robust 49 percent year-on-year growth compared to 1,985 units sold in December 2024. The performance highlights sustained demand across Force Motors’ key mobility platforms and reflects improving sentiment across multiple transportation segments.

The positive momentum was not limited to a single month. During the third quarter of FY26, Force Motors posted domestic wholesale volumes of 8,427 units, up 47 percent from 5,723 units recorded in Q3 FY25. This consistent quarterly growth underlines a broader recovery trend and strengthening demand across passenger and goods transportation categories.

Looking at the cumulative performance, Force Motors’ domestic sales between April and December 2025 crossed 24,920 units. This represents a 25 percent year-on-year increase compared to 19,911 units sold during the same period last year. The company’s expanding footprint in urban mobility, institutional transport, and shared mobility solutions has played a key role in supporting this growth trajectory.

Commenting on the sales performance, Prasan Firodia, Managing Director of Force Motors, said December emerged as another encouraging month for the company, with positive momentum across core product platforms. He highlighted early signs of revival in the tour and travel segment, supported by rising intercity movement and renewed fleet expansion activity. According to him, school mobility demand also remained steady through the holiday season, reflecting growing confidence among institutional customers heading into the new year.

Firodia further noted that sustained traction for Force Urbania across urban and emerging markets, combined with the strong market leadership of the Traveller range, continues to reinforce customer trust in the brand. These trends, he added, point to a broad-based strengthening of demand and provide a solid foundation as the company enters 2026.

Force Motors’ diverse product portfolio has been central to its market performance. The Force Traveller and Trax ranges continue to lead their respective segments, offering reliable solutions for both passenger and freight movement. The Trax is known for its durability and ability to operate in challenging terrain, while the Traveller has established itself as a benchmark for efficiency and dependability in the van segment.

Urbania, Force Motors’ modular monocoque passenger van platform, has also emerged as a key growth driver. Positioned in the premium shared mobility space, Urbania has gained acceptance in India and is steadily expanding into international markets. The Force Traveller Monobus further strengthens the company’s offerings with its focus on safe, stable, and fuel-efficient passenger transport. Meanwhile, the Force Gurkha, available in 3-door and 5-door configurations, continues to appeal to customers seeking rugged off-road capability.

Founded in 1958, Force Motors today operates as a fully integrated automotive manufacturer with five production facilities across India and a strong R&D base in Pune, supporting its long-term growth ambitions.
