Jupiter Electric Mobility Expands Network with Five New Showrooms Across India

In a major step toward strengthening its position in India’s fast-evolving electric commercial vehicle market, Jupiter Electric Mobility Pvt. Ltd. (JEM) has launched five new showrooms across major Indian cities — Delhi, Ghaziabad, Trivandrum, Ahmedabad, and Pune. The move marks a strategic expansion aimed at deepening the company’s retail and service presence across key logistics and industrial hubs.

The five-day inauguration drive, which began on November 3, 2025, was led by Vikash Lohia, Deputy Managing Director of Jupiter Group, alongside senior company executives and local dignitaries. The expansion introduces JEM’s flagship JEM TEZ electric light commercial vehicle (e-LCV) to new metropolitan markets, furthering the brand’s commitment to sustainable transportation.

The new showrooms are strategically located to align with regional EV adoption policies and logistics needs. The Delhi and Ghaziabad outlets cater to the capital region’s growing logistics network and align with the Delhi EV Policy 2.0, which targets 95% electric vehicle adoption by 2027. Meanwhile, Pune and Ahmedabad—key industrial corridors in Maharashtra and Gujarat—account for over 22% of India’s commercial vehicle market, offering vast opportunities for electric fleet deployment. The Trivandrum showroom enhances JEM’s footprint in Kerala, where over 235,000 electric vehicles are registered, representing an 11.33% market share.

Each showroom features dedicated product experts, personalized consultations, and test-drive facilities for potential buyers. The JEM TEZ, designed for intra-city freight and last-mile delivery, offers a 1.05-ton payload, 300+ km certified range, 80 kW peak motor power, and 23% gradeability, making it suitable for diverse commercial operations.

Vivek Lohia, Managing Director of Jupiter Group, said the expansion reinforces JEM’s mission to establish a strong national footprint. “Our goal is to address the unique logistical needs of different regions while supporting India’s transition to electric mobility,” he stated.

His brother, Vikash Lohia, added that the expansion leverages Jupiter Group’s decades-long expertise in railway freight wagon manufacturing, ensuring robust build quality and reliability. “Every JEM TEZ vehicle undergoes extensive testing across Indian operating conditions to guarantee performance and safety,” he said.

JEM is also building a broader ecosystem for commercial EV users through partnerships with Porter, Pulse Energy, Battwheel, Automovill, and Tapfin. These collaborations focus on charging infrastructure, financing solutions, after-sales support, and business development through the JEM Udaan program.

With the latest additions, JEM now operates seven showrooms nationwide, including existing outlets in Bangalore and Hyderabad. The company plans to extend its presence to Chennai, Kolkata, and Mumbai in the next phase.

A subsidiary of Jupiter Wagons Limited, JEM benefits from the parent company’s extensive experience in manufacturing freight wagons, locomotives, and commercial vehicle components, with production facilities in Kolkata, Jamshedpur, Indore, Jabalpur, and Aurangabad, and partnerships across Europe.
