Mahindra Last Mile Mobility Becomes First Indian OEM to Cross 3 Lakh Commercial EV Sales Milestone

Mahindra Last Mile Mobility Limited (MLMML), India’s leading electric commercial vehicle manufacturer, has achieved a significant milestone by crossing three lakh electric vehicle sales, becoming the first original equipment manufacturer (OEM) in the country to reach this landmark.

The company announced that its EV fleet has collectively covered over 5 billion kilometres, helping offset more than 185 kilometric tonnes of CO₂ emissions—an impact comparable to planting over 4.3 million trees. The achievement underscores Mahindra’s growing dominance in the electric mobility space and its continued push toward sustainable transportation solutions.

Mahindra’s diverse electric commercial vehicle portfolio includes the Treo range, Zor Grand, e-Alfa 3-wheelers, and the recently launched Mahindra ZEO four-wheeler. The company has sold its last one lakh EVs in just 12 months, highlighting surging demand and strong customer trust in its products.

Commenting on the milestone, Suman Mishra, Managing Director and CEO of Mahindra Last Mile Mobility, said,
“Achieving the 3 Lakh EV milestone marks a proud moment in our journey towards sustainable mobility. It’s a reflection of the trust and confidence customers place on our EVs. At Mahindra Last Mile Mobility, we are not just manufacturing EVs—we are enabling livelihoods and shaping a cleaner future. Through innovation-driven products, we continue to strengthen our commitment to making electric mobility practical and accessible to everyone.”

To celebrate the achievement, Mahindra has rolled out a refreshed version of its NEMO platform, now available on iOS, Android, and web. The upgraded platform allows drivers and fleet operators to remotely manage and monitor vehicles. It includes features such as multi-vehicle management, geo-tracking, roadside assistance, service booking, and access to an extensive charging network.

This follows the introduction of the UDAY NXT program last year, launched when the company reached the two lakh EV milestone. The initiative focuses on driver empowerment, offering benefits like ₹20 lakh accidental insurance cover and financial counselling services.

Over the past year, Mahindra has also introduced new and upgraded EV models such as the Treo Plus (sheet metal variant), e-Alfa Plus, Zor Grand Range Plus, and Mahindra ZEO, reflecting the company’s customer-centric approach and continuous innovation.

A subsidiary of Mahindra & Mahindra Ltd., MLMML remains India’s top manufacturer of small electric commercial vehicles, complementing its EV lineup with the fuel-efficient Alfa and Jeeto range.

With its robust ecosystem partnerships and rapid product innovation, Mahindra Last Mile Mobility continues to lead India’s transition toward clean and inclusive last-mile transportation.
