MoEVing to Deploy 700 Tata Motors Ace EVs Across India for Sustainable Logistics
In a major push for clean mobility, MoEVing has partnered with Tata Motors Commercial Vehicles and its leading dealers — Pascos, Johar Automobiles, and Bhandari Automotive — to deploy a fleet of 700 electric small commercial vehicles (e-SCVs), including the popular Ace EV and Ace Pro EV. This large-scale deployment aims to accelerate the adoption of zero-emission vehicles in India’s logistics sector while contributing to the country’s decarbonisation goals.
The fleet will serve last-mile delivery operations across more than 10 cities, including Delhi NCR, Mumbai, Pune, Chennai, Hyderabad, Bengaluru, and Kolkata. It is projected to cut approximately 2,000 tonnes of carbon emissions annually, supporting India’s Net Zero 2070 target.
Partnership Model and Operational Strategy
Under the agreement, Tata Motors’ dealers will own and maintain the fleet, while MoEVing will handle their operational deployment across the designated cities. This collaboration ensures efficient operations, enabling scalable and sustainable logistics solutions for multiple enterprise clients. With this initiative, the combined operations are expected to cover 25 million green kilometres annually, benefiting over 20 enterprise clients across e-commerce, FMCG, grocery, and 3PL sectors.

Impact on India’s EV Logistics Landscape
The addition of 700 Tata EVs strengthens MoEVing’s leadership in sustainable last-mile logistics. Currently, MoEVing operates over 2,500 EVs, including more than 500 electric 4W cargo vehicles, the largest 4W EV cargo fleet in India. The fleet serves over 75 clients spanning FMCG, e-commerce, grocery, furniture, and 3PL operations, demonstrating the growing feasibility and environmental impact of electrified logistics solutions.
With this deployment, MoEVing and Tata Motors are setting a benchmark for green logistics in India, highlighting the potential of electric commercial vehicles to reduce emissions, lower operational costs, and improve sustainability across major urban centres.
