Supertech EV Expands Operations with New Plant and MAXX Electric Auto Range

Supertech EV, one of India’s rapidly growing electric vehicle manufacturers, has announced a major expansion plan that includes a new production facility in Bahadurgarh, Haryana, the introduction of its upgraded Zapster high-speed scooter line, and the launch of its new MAXX L5 electric autos designed for both passenger and cargo applications.

The launch of the Passenger MAXX and Cargo MAXX marks Supertech EV’s entry into the fast-evolving L5 category, a segment gaining strong traction in India’s urban and semi-urban mobility landscape. Both models are equipped with a 3 kW (4.02 hp) advanced electric motor, engineered to deliver reliable performance for last-mile transport while promoting sustainable mobility.

The vehicles come with two battery configurations—61V, 105Ah and 51V, 105Ah—allowing users to select based on their range requirements. The 61V, 105Ah battery variant provides a range of 80–90 km per charge, while the 51V, 105Ah battery version offers 70–80 km on a single charge. To enhance drivability, both models are fitted with 12-inch Apollo tyres and maintain a ground clearance of 400 mm, enabling smooth operation even on uneven terrain.

In terms of build and performance, the Cargo MAXX features a length of 3480 mm, width of 1302 mm, and height of 1825 mm, with a wheelbase of 2410 mm for improved stability. It has a payload capacity of 1,000 kg—ideal for logistics and small business operations—and can reach speeds of up to 100 kmph. The vehicle also supports fast charging, taking about 4–5 hours for a full charge.

The Passenger MAXX, on the other hand, measures 3025 mm in length, 1505 mm in width, and 1850 mm in height, with a wheelbase of 1965 mm. It comfortably seats three passengers plus a driver and offers a maximum speed of 70 kmph. Its front and rear hydraulic telescopic suspension with compression rings ensures a smoother ride, reducing jerks and improving passenger comfort.

Supertech EV has also refined its popular Pilot e-rickshaw series with upgraded suspension and an independent differential system, enhancing performance and durability. Available in a signature sky-blue colour, the MAXX lineup comes with a 3-year battery warranty and a 1-year vehicle warranty, making it an attractive option for fleet operators and transport entrepreneurs seeking cost-efficient and eco-friendly mobility solutions.
