Mahindra Records 39,745 Domestic CV Sales in September 2025, Posts 21% Growth
Mahindra & Mahindra, one of India’s leading commercial vehicle (CV) manufacturers, reported strong domestic and export sales in September 2025, highlighting its growing demand and expanding market presence. The company sold 39,745 domestic CVs in September, marking a 21% year-on-year growth compared to 32,740 units in September 2024.
The growth was primarily driven by the mid-range LCV segment (2T–3.5T), which recorded 23,342 units, up from 19,252 units last year. Mahindra’s smaller LCV segment (under 2T) saw a minor decline of 2%, with 3,386 units sold, reflecting a market shift towards higher payload vehicles. Meanwhile, the 3-wheeler category, including conventional and electric models, performed exceptionally well, with 13,017 units sold, a 30% increase from September 2024, highlighting strong adoption of sustainable last-mile mobility solutions.
On the export front, Mahindra shipped 4,320 units, reflecting a 43% increase over the previous year. Key export destinations include Africa, South Asia, and the Middle East, underscoring Mahindra’s growing global footprint in commercial mobility.
Total vehicle sales for September 2025—including SUVs, LCVs under 3.5T, 3-wheelers, and exports—reached 100,298 units, reflecting the company’s diversified portfolio and strategic focus on both domestic and international markets.
The company’s strong performance is underpinned by its focus on electric mobility, rising demand for efficient goods carriers, and a robust dealer and service network. By consistently delivering innovative and reliable commercial vehicles, Mahindra is consolidating its position as a leader in India’s CV sector while expanding its presence in emerging global markets.
This performance demonstrates the company’s ability to adapt to changing market dynamics, capitalize on demand for sustainable transport solutions, and continue driving growth in both domestic and international segments.
