Ashok Leyland Strengthens Karnataka Presence With New 3S Dealership in Bengaluru
Ashok Leyland has opened a new Light Commercial Vehicle (LCV) outlet in Bengaluru, further expanding its footprint in Karnataka. The newly inaugurated 3S (sales, service, and spare parts) facility is operated by Sanvit Motors and is strategically located near Hoskote Toll Gate on Old Madras Road.
This is the company’s third LCV dealership in Bengaluru and the 11th in the state, underscoring its efforts to improve customer reach and support.
Modern Facility for Better Customer Experience
The new unit is equipped with quick-service bays, advanced tools, and modern infrastructure aimed at reducing turnaround times and ensuring better after-sales service. The facility will offer Ashok Leyland’s full LCV range including the Bada Dost, Dost, Saathi, Partner, and MiTR models.
Company’s Stand
Speaking at the launch, Viplav Shah, Head of LCV Business at Ashok Leyland, said Karnataka remains a vital market for the company.
“Our association with customers is built on trust and performance. With the launch of this new dealership, we are reaffirming our commitment to delivering reliable products along with top-notch service support,” he noted.
Expanding LCV Portfolio
Ashok Leyland has more than six lakh LCVs currently running on Indian roads, a testament to its strong presence in the segment. Earlier this year, the company rolled out the Saathi mini truck, which comes with a 45 hp engine delivering 110 Nm torque, a payload of 1,120 kg, and the largest loading area in its category.
The company’s flagship Bada Dost series, available in five trims – i2, i3+, i5, i5XL, and i5+ – is powered by an 80 hp BS6 engine and designed to handle heavy payloads efficiently. The Dost XL and Dost+ XL cater to different customer applications, while the Partner truck addresses the 4-ton payload segment with 4-tyre and 6-tyre options.
Why It Matters
With this new facility, Ashok Leyland aims to provide a smoother buying and ownership journey for its customers in Bengaluru and surrounding areas. The addition of advanced service infrastructure is also expected to strengthen the company’s reputation for reliability in the competitive LCV segment.
