ACE to Invest ₹400 Crore in New Crane Manufacturing Facility at Palwal
Action Construction Equipment Ltd (ACE), India’s leading material handling and construction equipment company, has announced plans to set up a new construction crane manufacturing facility at Palwal in Faridabad with an investment of approximately ₹400 crore.
The upcoming plant will span across 22 acres and is designed to meet the rising demand for cranes and construction equipment amid India’s infrastructure boom. In addition to Palwal, ACE has also acquired 32 acres of land in Indore to support future expansion, underlining its long-term growth strategy and commitment to scaling operations.
Sorab Agarwal, Executive Director of ACE, expressed confidence in the company’s growth outlook. “We expect ACE’s strong growth momentum to accelerate further in the coming years. Our focused strategy to double revenues by FY 2030 is backed by decisive moves into high-potential segments such as backhoe loaders, defence, and agriculture, along with a concerted push to double our export footprint,” Agarwal said.
He further highlighted that the company’s focus on capacity augmentation, infrastructure investments like the Palwal facility, and adoption of next-generation technologies will provide ACE with a sharper competitive edge.
The announcement comes on the back of a record-breaking performance by ACE, which posted its highest-ever quarterly and annual revenues and profits in FY25. Strong domestic demand and government-led capital expenditure in the infrastructure sector have acted as major catalysts for growth.
Agarwal also shared his views on the broader economic environment, noting that despite global headwinds, India’s GDP is projected to grow at around 6.5%. He pointed out that resilient domestic consumption and continued government focus on infrastructure spending remain vital drivers of growth.
At the same time, he cautioned that external risks such as escalating trade barriers, disrupted global supply chains, and ongoing geopolitical tensions could pose challenges. However, he remained optimistic about India’s prospects, stressing that the country’s emergence as the fourth-largest economy positions it strongly as a global sourcing hub for goods and services.
With the upcoming Palwal facility, ACE aims not only to ramp up its manufacturing capacity but also to strengthen its position in domestic and international markets. This investment marks another decisive step in the company’s journey toward becoming a global leader in construction and heavy equipment manufacturing.
