Tata Motors Launches Ace Gold+ with Cost-Saving LNT Technology

Tata Motors has expanded its popular Ace portfolio with the launch of the Tata Ace Gold+, priced at Rs. 5.52 lakh (ex-showroom). The new sub-1-tonne commercial vehicle is aimed at small business owners and fleet operators seeking cost-efficient cargo operations.

What sets the Ace Gold+ apart is its Lean NOx Trap (LNT) technology, which eliminates the need for Diesel Exhaust Fluid (DEF). This reduces recurring maintenance costs, directly lowering the total cost of ownership for operators while keeping the vehicle compliant with the latest emission norms.

Under the hood, the Ace Gold+ features a turbocharged Dicor engine producing 22 PS of power and 55 Nm of torque, supporting a 900 kg payload. Multiple load deck configurations make it versatile for diverse commercial applications.

Tata Motors’ small commercial vehicle range, which includes the Ace Pro, Intra, and Yodha, covers payloads from 750 kg to 2 tonnes and offers multiple fuel options, including diesel, petrol, CNG, bi-fuel, and electric. The Ace Gold+ strengthens Tata’s position in the sub-1-tonne cargo segment.

The vehicle is backed by Sampoorna Seva 2.0, a lifecycle package offering AMC options, genuine spare parts, and 24/7 roadside assistance. With over 2,500 service outlets and the Star Guru network, customers have extensive after-sales support.

Pinaki Haldar, Vice President & Business Head – SCVPU, Tata Motors Commercial Vehicles, said, “The Tata Ace has transformed last-mile mobility across India for over two decades. The Ace Gold+ brings advanced technologies, versatile features, and broader applications to empower entrepreneurs and small businesses.”

The launch of the Ace Gold+ is expected to boost small business operations, offering a reliable, low-cost, and environmentally compliant cargo vehicle for India’s growing commercial vehicle market.
