Euler Motors Unveils India’s First 1-Tonne Electric Mini Truck
Euler Motors, a leading player in India’s electric commercial vehicle segment, has launched the Euler Turbo EV 1000, the world’s first 1-tonne EV mini truck combining high performance with affordability. Priced at an ex-showroom starting price of INR 5.99 lakh, the vehicle promises annual savings of INR 1.15 lakh compared to diesel trucks, making it a practical and cost-effective option for small fleet owners and driver-entrepreneurs.
The Turbo EV 1000 offers a real-world range of 140–170 km, 140 Nm torque, and 230 mm disc brakes on an R13 wheel platform—the highest in its segment—ensuring safe and efficient navigation on busy city roads. It also features CCS 2 ultra-fast charging, enabling a 50 km range in just 15 minutes using public infrastructure, further reducing downtime and operational costs.
Designed to address a critical gap in the 4W commercial vehicle market, the Turbo EV 1000 delivers a low total cost of ownership while eliminating price barriers to EV adoption. “This launch represents a segment-first combination of performance and affordability, meeting both the practical needs of India’s logistics sector and long-term sustainability goals,” said Saurav Kumar, Founder and CEO of Euler Motors. He added that the vehicle is poised to accelerate EV penetration in India’s 4W CV segment, currently at around 2%.
The Turbo EV 1000 introduces nine segment-first innovations and is Euler Motors’ third product, following the Storm EV. The truck is available in three variants—CITY (INR 5,99,999), FAST CHARGE (INR 8,19,999), and MAXX (INR 7,19,999)—with flexible EMI options starting at INR 10,000 per month and a down payment of INR 49,999.
Founded in 2018, Euler Motors is a Delhi-based automotive OEM focused on electric commercial vehicles for cargo delivery. The company has received industry recognition including the Apollo Awards 2022 and Businessworld’s Auto World 40 Under 40. With a mission to accelerate India’s transition to electric mobility, Euler Motors continues to expand nationwide, offering innovative and sustainable alternatives to conventional diesel-powered vehicles.
The launch of the Turbo EV 1000 reinforces India’s position on the global EV manufacturing map while supporting the shift toward sustainable urban logistics and greener transportation solutions.
