 Shell Unveils Helix Ultra 2025 With Ferrari Campaign

Shell India has introduced the new Helix Ultra 2025 motor oil, designed to meet the advanced 2025 API SQ Standard. Alongside a refreshed look, the launch is powered by a global campaign—Unleash the Power Within—featuring Scuderia Ferrari HP drivers Charles Leclerc and Lewis Hamilton.

At the heart of this upgrade lies Shell’s PurePlus Technology, which converts natural gas into 99.5% pure base oil. The result? Up to 1.8% more engine output, 3.4% quicker responsiveness, and complete power retention for a smoother drive, better mileage, and longer engine life.

Amit Ghugre, Chief Marketing Officer of Shell India Lubricants, called the launch a milestone moment:
“By achieving the 2025 API SQ certification and unveiling bold new packaging, we’re celebrating more than innovation—it’s about performance, partnerships, and progress.”

The redesigned packaging across the Helix range not only improves visibility on shelves but also makes it easier for customers to pick the right product. It further reflects Shell’s strong partnerships with automakers such as Maruti Suzuki, Hyundai, Nissan, and BMW M Motorsports.

To celebrate the India launch, Shell hosted a two-day experiential event in Gurugram. Highlights included interactive fan zones, a live Ferrari pit stop demo, and a BMW M Motorsports driving showcase—giving enthusiasts a taste of the speed, precision, and innovation Shell stands for.

This unveiling strengthens Shell’s 75-year-long partnership with Scuderia Ferrari HP, showcasing the shared pursuit of peak performance both on the racetrack and in everyday driving.
