Euler Motors Unveils ‘NEO by Euler’ to Redefine Passenger EV Mobility
Delhi-based Euler Motors, known for its electric cargo three-wheelers, has officially entered the passenger EV market with a brand-new identity — NEO by Euler. The move marks a significant milestone for the startup, which has quickly risen as a leader in the commercial EV space since its founding in 2018.
The first model under this sub-brand, the NEO HIRANGE electric auto, has been launched at an introductory price of ₹3,09,999. Designed specifically for India’s auto-rickshaw ecosystem, the HIRANGE comes in three variants — MAXX, PLUS, and HIRANGE — catering to drivers covering 120 to 200 kilometers daily.
The EV has been built with practical performance and everyday reliability in mind. Depending on the variant, the NEO HIRANGE offers ARAI-certified ranges of 171 km, 204 km, and 261 km, translating to real-world driving ranges between 130 km and 200+ km. Under the hood, a 9 kW peak motor generates 65 Nm torque, while a chassis-integrated lithium-ion battery (9.6–13.44 kWh) ensures compact design and safety. Charging from 10% to 80% takes just 3.25 hours, making it highly convenient for commercial drivers who can recharge between shifts.
The NEO range also comes with thoughtful features such as hill-assist, anti-theft GPS tracking, and real-time diagnostics, providing drivers with both confidence and peace of mind. Warranty support extends up to 6 years or 1.75 lakh kilometers, offering long-term value for owners and fleet operators.
But beyond the specs, what makes NEO by Euler stand out is its driver-first philosophy. Over the past two years, Euler Motors conducted intensive research and engaged with over 10,000 auto-rickshaw drivers to understand their challenges. Issues like long fuel queues, high running costs, unreliable maintenance, and passenger discomfort became central to the design process.
“Drivers told us what they needed most — range, reliability, comfort, and higher earnings,” said Saurav Kumar, Founder & CEO of Euler Motors. “With NEO by Euler, we’re delivering a no-compromise solution that supports livelihoods while offering passengers a safe and comfortable ride.”
The company also highlighted its expansion plans. Within the next 3–4 months, NEO by Euler autos will be available across 50 Indian cities, including major transport hubs like Delhi, Mumbai, and Bengaluru. With auto-rickshaws accounting for nearly 20% of daily transport trips in India’s metros, Euler is aiming squarely at one of the country’s most critical mobility segments.
For passengers, this means quieter rides, zero tailpipe emissions, and improved comfort, while for drivers, the NEO range promises lower operating costs, fewer breakdowns, and consistent earnings. In a market where affordability and dependability matter most, Euler Motors is betting that NEO will become the go-to choice for modern urban mobility.
